Job Description

KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking an SAP Basis consultant to join our team. You are expected to possess functional and technical expertise to deploy SAP Basis solutions and best address our customers’ needs.

 

This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Role is expected to be responsibilities interaction with clients for consultation, project execution, SAP Sizing understand for RISE, SAP performance tuning and other activities associated with support of leveraged SAP environments.
  • SAP Basis tasks: Installations and Configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, BTP, Cloud connector, SOLMAN, CALM, etc.), S4 Hana Upgrades, SPS, SAML, SSO configuration, Charm, TMS configuration, System Refreshes and Client copies.
  • Capable to manage SAP System Architecture, Hardware, and integration landscape and Responsible to manage SAP Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience with implementing an S4/HANA Data migration and transformation efforts during new implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience with cutover planning and preparation of data migration runbooks.
  • Provide technical leadership to troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring stability and availability of Systems.
  • Working knowledge on SAP Patch upgrades & monthly/Quarterly Unix OS Patching activities.
  • BTP Configuration, Workzone. Expertise in Troubleshooting range of issues and providing root cause analysis from S/4 HANA to SAP BTP Service and 3rd Party surrounding systems.
  • Experience in designing appropriate data migration solutions including, SAP Data Extraction, Transform and Load.
  • Experience in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and performance optimization techniques.
  • Oversee presales efforts, including developing technical solutions, creating proposals, and delivering client presentations.
  • Work closely with sales and business development teams to support bid processes and uncover new business opportunities.
     

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/ ABAP Application and Administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and can deliver results and meet timelines with minimal direct supervision
