Job Description

 

KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking an SAP Director to join our leadership team. You are expected to manage SAP Practice comprising of sales, delivery management and people management. You will be responsible for the P&L for our practice and work independently and create our set of clients. Working closely with KPMG Leadership to get their buy-in in the vision for the practice building and investment plan. 

 

Position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Experience in selling and positioning SAP Insurance and Financial Services solutions to large insurance organisations within business-oriented solutions

  • Building on relationships with ecosystem and with the prospective Insurance clients

  • Contribute to Firm’s SAP strategy and assist in overall business goals and objectives of the organization and help create Opportunities pipe

  • Qualify the opportunities and lead it to successful outcome

  • Leading proposals with a good understanding of SAP Insurance Solution, SAP implementation methodology and SAP Insurance modules

  • Lead Contract Closure and Team set up

  • Oversee the delivery of various SAP Insurance projects which has dedicated project managers across multiple SAP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and ensure maximum client satisfaction

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and address any concerns or escalations effectively

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects at a time

  • Stay informed about the latest SAP trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the SAP landscape
     

The ideal candidate should possess:

 

  • Proven track record of at least 12-15 years in SAP Insurance sales and delivery roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership or managerial positions

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Strong understanding of Insurance best practices, capabilities of SAP S/4 HANA Insurance solutions

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets

  • Ability to effectively develop presentations and present ideas and proposals to all levels of management

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills
