Job Description

KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives incorporating SAP Products. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking an SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. You would be responsible for delivering of qualified high quality SAP ABAP implementations and support, extensive knowledge of dialogue programming, ABAP Objects, BADI s, interface and integration, implementation and support of various SAP ABAP installations and system documentation.

 

This position is based in Singapore.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leverage SAP and other programming best practices to create structured and reusable code that will enable multiple customers to implement new businesses or functionality quickly and efficiently into SAP and to provide ongoing support of existing systems and processes. 
  • Involve in software and process design, development, and implementation for new functionalities and enhancements to business systems
  • Prepare technical specifications and develop the necessary programs and development objects.
  • Take part in identifying technology and application development opportunities to improve existing processes. 
  • Work on critical and complex projects where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making strategic solution recommendations. 
    Review and analyse technical needs. 
  • Work closely with SAP functional consultants to implement and deploy changes to SAP and other integrated or interfaced systems. 
  • Be responsible for initial technical testing of all development. 
  • Develop interfaces and system solutions using ABAP programs, RFCs, SAP Script, Smartforms, LSMW's, Fiori customisation etc. 
  • Present design reviews to extended teams of for major changes. 
  • Participate in gathering and documenting business requirements. 
  • Assist in supporting business user acceptance testing. 
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of system or process related issues.
  • Knowledge transfer to other team members

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Applications Development experience developing with SAP ABAP, RFCs, Web services, SAP Script, Smartforms, Adobe forms, LSMW's, Fiori customisation, etc. 
  • Experience of 2+ full life cycle projects would be advantageous
  • Experience of EDI related interfaces 
  • Experience with development of SAP RF screens and associated functionality. 
  • Strong SAP technical, design, interaction, and leadership skills are required. 
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills and be able technical designs to IT functional colleagues and non-technical business personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to proactively identify risks and propose mitigation plans for same 
  • Understanding of the cross-module integration points
  • The ability to develop, execute, and document test plans
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin/Malay would be an added advantage
