Job Description

 

KPMG has a strong SAP and Supply Chain Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives incorporating SAP and other leading technology Products. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Solution Consultant to join our team. This position is based in Singapore.

 

The role involves:

 

  • Responsible for showcasing robust business and technology delivery skills, deep understanding of the Sourcing & Procurement competitive landscape
  • Responsible to generate sales and define creative solutions for clients and advocate strategic procurement solution offerings within and outside KPMG
  • Gather requirements and ultimately setup a fully functional development, test, and production environment to deliver effective solution deployment scope to the client
  • Responsible for making solution recommendations considering scope and client requirements
  • Ensuring solution and design complies with the industry standards, processes and technical standards defined for the project
  • Prepare the Business blueprint document as per the requirement
  • Prepare the functional specifications and ensure delivery of objects as per the timelines
  • Create configuration documents and training documents
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex, multi-vendor computing environments

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

 

  • At least 10 years of experience doing solutioning and delivery for medium or large enterprise in leading procurement systems (e.g. Coupa) or equivalent Sourcing & Procurement suites
  • Procurement solution architecture expertise, capable of acting as an architect and design for leading practice procurement solutions using Agile methodology and leading practices
  • Experience outside of Technology initiatives on broader Supply Chain & Procurement Strategy and Operations projects will be an added advantage 
  • Able to interpret and convert technical requirements into Client proposal offering solutions that addresses business needs
  • Able to understand adjacent ERP/ Supply Chain solutions and how they interface with the various leading procurement solution modules
  • Deep industry focus in at least one of the following – Retail/CPG, Technology Media & Telecommunications, Financial Services or Life Sciences
  • Experience across various functions of procurement product solution services: Procurement, Invoice, Expense, P2P, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Sourcing, etc
  • Good written and communication skills
  • A highly motivated individual, team player, a mentor who can guide his subordinates, together with aptitude to problem solve and ability to map customer business problems to pragmatic end-to-end technology solutions
