Job Description

We invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our growing Deal Advisory – Transaction Services practice in the Singapore office, where we are recognised for delivering innovative client solutions and fostering a dynamic work environment with an internationally diverse team.

 

Our Deal Advisory represent an integrated team of specialists providing holistic solutions for buying, selling, partnering, funding and fixing, in ways that businesses can add and preserve value for our.  One of our Deal Advisory - Transaction Services core offerings is financial due diligence assistance in relation to acquisitions, disposals, public bids/mergers, joint ventures, buy-outs and other transactions.  The team also helps clients to identify opportunities and risks in their transaction processes to identify value and satisfy the due diligence requirements.

 

As a key member of the Deal Advisory – Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) team, the Associate / Assistant Manager will play a critical role in shaping our client’s strategic investment decisions by providing comprehensive financial insights in a fast-paced deals environment.

 

Responsibilities:
•    Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on Target companies to evaluate financial performance and position.
•    Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, cash flows, and deal metrics to identify key business drivers, trends, and anomalies.
•    Regularly communicate observations and findings to project team leads in a constructive manner.
•    Responsible for drafting of follow-up discussion agenda with Target company management to address potential concerns 
•    Manage interactions with Target management, demonstrating effective communication skills and professionalism.
•    Take a primary role in data management, reviewing source information, and highlighting data gaps in a timely manner.
•    Assist project teams in drafting reports, articulating key findings, potential risks, and recommendations based on financial analysis.
•    Act as a key team member across engagements, collaborating with team members from various functions.

Requirements:
•    Strong academic background with a focus on finance, accounting or related fields. Candidates with professional qualifications such as ISCA / SQP, ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
•    Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a global accounting firms, preferably with exposure to financial due diligence. Candidates with audit, M&A, business combinations or business analytics will be considered, with a demonstrated aptitude for learning. 
•    Strong analytical skills complemented with sound business acumen.
•    Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
•    Exposure to wide / diverse industries is value adding.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Any additional language capability (e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese) is an added advantage to facilitate client’s communication.
•    Proven ability to perform consistently under pressure.
•    Strong personal impact, e.g. self-motivated and confidence.
•    Enthusiastic about staying updated with industry trends and accounting standards.
