Job Description

KPMG Corporate Finance assists businesses and/or their shareholders in the effective management and successful completion of transactions. Whether a company and/or its shareholders are searching for fresh business opportunities, diversifying into different business lines, entering new geographical markets, raising fresh funds from investors, or seeking to exit from the businesses, the company and/or the shareholders will require holistic strategy for successful execution of the envisaged objective. This is where our Corporate Finance Group adds value to our clients. The Corporate Finance Group offers a complete range of services to global MNCs and local companies as well as publicly-listed and private companies, which include IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, capital raisings through equity or debt, asset/business/share valuations, and assistance in due diligence and business reviews.

You will work alongside experienced professionals as part of a project team.

 

You may be expected to contribute to the team in the following ways:

  • Conduct market and industry research
  • Retrieve and analyse financial information (from Bloomberg/Capital IQ/other sources)
  • Screen for and profile suitable potential targets / buyers / investors
  • Write and amend proposals, reports, marketing materials such as Information Memorandum and Teaser
  • Conduct comparable company / comparable transaction analysis
  • Perform basic financial modelling
