Job Description
KPMG in Singapore has been supporting organisations on sustainability-related matters for more than two decades and is recognised as a leading advisor in sustainability and ESG transformation. The ESG consulting team works with organisations across the public and private sectors to navigate an increasingly dynamic landscape shaped by sustainability priorities, climate change, the green transition, evolving stakeholder expectations and changing regulatory requirement.
The multidisciplinary ESG consulting team combines sustainability, business and transformation expertise to help clients respond to emerging challenges and opportunities while creating long-term value. We work closely with organisations to develop practical strategies, drive transformation initiatives and translate sustainability ambitions into meaningful outcomes.
Joining our ESG consulting team provides an opportunity to work on complex and meaningful engagements, contribute to projects that create lasting impact, and help organisations navigate their sustainability and transformation journeys.
Together with a team of ESG and other professionals within the firm, you will:
- Support the delivery of sustainability and transformation engagements across the public and private sectors.
- Contribute to developing insights, recommendations and practical solutions to help clients address sustainability-related risks and opportunities as well as implementation challenges.
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends, industry developments, regulatory requirements and emerging business issues.
- Prepare presentations, reports, proposals and other client-facing materials.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops and discussions with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and industries.
- Support business development activities including the development of proposals as well as thought leadership pieces, and other industry-driven engagements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
We are looking for individuals with the potential to become exceptional consultants who:
- Are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline. We particularly value backgrounds that bring perspectives across business strategy and transformation, sustainability, environmental studies, social sciences, supply chain and quantitative disciplines.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and is excited by the opportunity to help build new sustainability and transformation solutions in a rapidly evolving market.
- Thrive in ambiguous environment and can structure complex problems, work with diverse stakeholders, and independently drive outcomes.
- Are intellectually curious, adaptable and eager to learn about emerging sustainability, business and industry topics.
- Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative information into practical recommendations.
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Have good understanding of both local and international reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. ISSB, GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, CSRD)
- Have a strong academic record and track record of excellence in leadership and extracurricular pursuits
This Graduate Associate role is open to candidates whose graduation date is expected to be between January 2026 and September 2027.
