Job Description
The KPMG ESG Consulting team focuses on the strategic transformation of our Financial Services clients (i.e., banks, insurers and asset managers) across the broad agendas of sustainability and ESG. The financial sector plays a crucial role in mobilising capital to facilitate the transition to a net-zero economy. We support our financial services clients on multiple diverse consulting projects that include:
- Define the sustainability and Net Zero strategy
- Drive ESG target operating model design and operationalisation
- Establish policies and processes to embed ESG risk management practices into the business strategy and operating models
- Provide programme and change management support of complex ESG transformations
We are looking for motivated and passionate candidates to play a key role in our ESG consulting practice. As an FSA ESG Consulting intern, you will join experienced project teams who assist financial services clients both locally and regionally. You will have the opportunity to develop your business analysis skills and help to generate suitable recommendations for our Financial Services clients. Through the internship, you will gain insights to the trade secrets of being a successful consultant and learn relevant transferrable knowledge and skills related to Financial Services.
The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Strong academic credentials, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant disciplines such as Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Corporate Governance or Finance
- Independent individual who can work collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds
- Critical and analytical thinking skills to solve complex problem statements
- Any experience in ESG, consulting and FinTechs is a plus
- Native proficiency in both verbal and written English is essential (Other Southeast Asian language skills are an added advantage)
This Graduate Associate role is open to candidates whose graduation date is expected to be between January 2026 and September 2027.
