Job Description

 

As part of KPMG in Singapore’s Accounting Advisory (AAS), you will work with KPMG’s top tier clients in both the private and public sector. As our client’s trusted advisors, we will work with our clients to support C-suites on wide ranging of finance and accounting matters, including deliver practical advice and recommendations to complex accounting, financial and regulatory challenges to review and enhancing finance capabilities in reporting. 

 

This role is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their careers in accounting advisory, providing exposure to a broad range of finance transformation projects and technical accounting matters.

 

What will you do as a Graduate Associate in AAS?


•    Assist in delivering accounting advisory projects, supporting clients in navigating technical accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
•    Conduct research on accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and provide insights into their application.
•    Support in the implementation of financial reporting systems, policies, and governance frameworks.
•    Perform data analysis to help clients make informed financial decisions using visualization tools.
•    Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
•    Work as part of a team to provide practical solutions to finance-related challenges.
•    Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance technical knowledge.

 

What we are looking for:


•    A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
•    Keen interest in accounting advisory and financial reporting.
•    Enthusiasm to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools is a plus.
•    Relevant Data analytics skills will be advantageous (not a must-have)
